UPPER EXTREMITY SPECIALISTS

The Bulow team has experience with a number of myoelectric components, including the
i-Limb™, the Utah Arm, Otto Bock^® and Fillauer/Motion Control components. Also, the Bulow clinicians often team up with the manufacturers and outside consultants who focus on the development and fitting of specialized upper extremity cases.

VACUUM SOCKET TECHNOLOGY

Vacuum sockets are devices used to attach prostheses to residual limbs. These devices use air pressure and pumps to achieve the most comfortable and accurate fit possible. The system uses a liner, socket and pump. Some systems are manual; others use electronic pumps to maintain the correct pressure. Bulow BioTech specializes in finding the proper socket for each patient and his or her prosthesis.
