Bulow BioTech Teams with Mending Limbs to Provide Flood Survivor with Two Prosthetic Legs

Nashville, TN (Dec. 22, 2011)–Adrienne Black, a Nashville woman who lost both of her legs to amputation due to the toxic waters of the May 2010 floods, was fitted with prosthetics at Bulow BioTech earlier this week.

She was able to receive her prosthetics thanks to funding from the Mending Limbs Organization, a non-profit that provides financial support to amputees who do not have insurance, or whose insurance will not cover the costs of a prosthetic. Together with Mending Limbs, Bulow fit Ms. Black with two legs, and she is now able to walk again!

WZTV FOX 17 covered her story–see the link below to view the video and make sure to check out www.mendinglimbs.org for more information about this fantastic non-profit.
