Bulow BioTech Team Meeting

We recently gathered the Bulow Team clinicians spanning from Texas to South Carolina, and had a meeting in Nashville TN.  This meeting was specifically to share clinical knowledge and improve on our already great prosthetic socket fits.  We had over 55 years of combined experience in the room, and committed 3 days to the event.  Kirk gave excellent instruction from his AK socket experience from the military’s Center for the Intrepid.  We had a patient in for casting, modifying, and fitting an AK test socket with Kirk’s excellent AK methods.  I gained knowledge that I used within one week back in Columbia.  Matt helped with BK socket instruction.  As a below the knee amputee and a CP himself, he has gained tremendous book knowledge, first hand experience, and hands on knowledge with other patients.  One idea we kept on coming back to was although our socket fits are very good, we want to look back on last year and see that we improved.  This mentality of constant improvement is one facet that helps us in our excellent patient care.
